Literature Text

She's standing there with her face in her hands
Not bothered by the silence haunting her
She says she's used to it now
but look what it's doing to her

With a dejected sense of feeling in her veins
She tells me she's off to go to work
I sit down and look out in front
I can tell she's feeling hurt

She's hiding who she really is
behind a barrier of scars
She doesn't want to show anyone
how her life is so hard
So instead she's pretending to hide
behind a barrier of scars

There's no one else waiting for her at home
so she says she's off to meet a friend
What she doesn't try to say
is the tear carried off by the wind

I watch her walk down the street away from me
with her back rigid and severely straight
but I know that on the inside
she knows nobody's going to wait

She's hiding who she really is
behind a barrier of scars
She doesn't want to show anyone
how her life is so hard
So instead she's pretending to hide
behind a barrier of scars

I would attempt to try reaching out to her
but she ignores her own pleas to be saved
So instead of smiling at me
she's created her own grave

She's hiding who she really is
behind a barrier of scars
She doesn't want to show anyone
how her life is so hard
So instead she's pretending to hide
behind a barrier of scars

She's hiding who she really is
behind a barrier of scars
She doesn't want to show anyone
how her life is so hard
So instead she's pretending to hide
behind a barrier of scars

Her life is going to end
behind a barrier of scars
Imagine it being rock music and a guy band singing it. XD That's all I can explain.

I like it, I picture a mid tempo beat with the words sung strongly, but then a slower pace for the chorus and softly sung, if not spoken, I guess everyone makes up different music for the lyrics! ^_^ once again kudos for you! :boogie:
